Mechanical Design for CO2 Capture System
Occam's Technologies Inc. is in the process of developing an innovative CO2 capture system aimed at reducing carbon emissions. While significant progress has been made in chemical and process engineering, the project now requires mechanical engineering expertise to advance. The primary goal is to design and optimize the mechanical components of the CO2 capture system, ensuring they integrate seamlessly with existing chemical processes. This project will provide learners with the opportunity to apply their mechanical engineering knowledge to a real-world environmental challenge. Key tasks include designing mechanical structures, selecting appropriate materials, and ensuring the system's mechanical efficiency and reliability. The project is structured to be completed within 80 hours by a team of mechanical engineering students.
