Further Together aims to enhance its media presence by securing op-eds and podcast appearances. The objective of this project is to develop a comprehensive media outreach strategy that aligns with the company's mission and values. The project will involve researching potential media outlets and podcasts that align with Further Together's goals, crafting compelling pitches, and identifying key spokespersons within the organization. Learners will apply their knowledge of media relations and communication strategies to create a targeted approach that increases the company's visibility and influence. The project will focus on creating a cohesive plan that can be implemented by the company's communications team.



Key tasks include:


- Researching and identifying suitable media outlets and podcasts.


- Developing tailored pitches for each identified opportunity.


- Creating a media outreach calendar with timelines and key milestones.


- Preparing briefing materials for company spokespersons.

Deliverables

The deliverables for this project will include a detailed media outreach strategy document, a list of targeted media outlets and podcasts, and a set of customized pitch templates. Additionally, learners will provide a media outreach calendar outlining key dates and activities. These deliverables will equip Further Together with a clear and actionable plan to enhance its media presence and secure valuable media opportunities.
