Subsurface Simulation Flow Loop Design
Terraferno Geothermal Solutions Inc. is seeking innovative proposals for the design and implementation of a subsurface simulation flow loop system. The goal is to develop a system that can operate under conditions exceeding typical geothermal well performance parameters. This project will allow learners to apply and expand their knowledge of geothermal systems, fluid dynamics, and engineering design principles. The challenge is to create a cost-effective and technically sound proposal that includes detailed technical drawings and comprehensive cost estimates. The project will focus on understanding the complexities of subsurface conditions and simulating them accurately to enhance well performance insights. Specifically, circulating super critical fluids at temperatures up to 500C and pressures up to 100MPa. Learners will work collaboratively to address the technical and financial aspects of the project, ensuring that the proposed system is both feasible and efficient.
