I'm the Associate Director of Workforce Development at National University where I focus on integrating workforce assets into our courses. I serve as a bridge between industry and academia with a commitment to improving the employability of our graduates.
Prior to joining NU, I served as Director of Student Success for Pearson's non-degree product portfolio and consulted with universities on outcome assessment and learning analytics. My research interests include employability and career success, learning analytics and assessment of student learning.
My experience in higher ed began at Jones International University where I was Chair of International Education. I developed internationalization strategies and managed dual degree programs with partner institutions in Latin America. I also helped launch the United Nations Development Programme’s Virtual Development Academy that developed Junior Programme Officers in the core practice areas required for leadership at UNDP.

Product Design Consultants - Manufacturing Design Engineering Tech Capstone

Most NU students are working adults who bring years of work experience to the table. They have over 200 hours to work on one main project over the course of a three-month capstone course. With regular mentorship and guidance from you, they can produce quality work that can make a real impact on your business. Students in the BS in Manufacturing Design Engineering Technology program acquire the theoretical foundations, hands-on experience, and teaming skills required for effective conceptual, logistical, developmental, and interdisciplinary design of complex engineering devices, product life cycles, and engineering systems through integration of state-of-the-art computer-aided tools, concurrent engineering standards, and simulation modeling techniques.

Digital Health Psychology Internship

This experience is designed for students in NU’s PhD Health Psychology specialization program to apply their acquired knowledge and skills in real-world settings. Participants will engage in an internship with a digital health information agency, allowing them to connect classroom concepts to practical applications. Work with Capstone students from our Master of Science in Engineering Management program to get solution designs that can help move your company forward. Our students come to the program with an engineering background and choose to specialize in systems engineering or project management. This is an opportunity for our students to showcase and apply their academic knowledge in the business environment. Client companies will be presented with teams’ recommendations that will align the organizational systems with their core mission. These recommendations will address; the needs for enhancements to the systemic operating processes, measurable improvements to efficiency and effectiveness of core business systems, elimination or minimization of potential projects failures (delays, quality, scope, budget), use of technology-based solution where and when applicable.
